As we sat in Liza Daly‘s and Keith Fahlgren‘s Books in Browsers presentation many of us wondered why she was wearing an iPhone earbud and mic. Many also noticed her words were being transcribed in a tiny box in the corner of the screen.
It didn’t take very long to see what they were up to. I won’t spoil the surprise. You’ll have to watch the presentation yourself. You’ll want to though. It shows how different technologies can be spliced together to create some pretty inspiring results. And even though their experiment had a bug or two, stop and think about how their demo might lead to presentations and conferences that can be transformed into richer products that extend the in-person event.
